Arunkumar Dorairaj
Business Systems Analyst at Google LLC

FELLOW MEMBER
Over more than two decades, Arunkumar Dorairaj has built a career in a category of enterprise technology where correctness is not optional: sales performance management and compensation systems that determine how thousands of professionals are paid, audited, and governed. His work sits at the junction of executive commercial strategy and production-grade system execution—translating go-to-market incentive design into scalable, compliant platforms that withstand operational load, policy complexity, and regulatory scrutiny.
Today, as a Business Systems Analyst at Google Cloud, Dorairaj helps architect and govern end-to-end compensation capabilities that directly support Google Cloud’s global selling organization. His remit spans the design of compensation processes, attainment and payout logic, enterprise reporting, and the integration patterns that keep “what happened” (transactions, bookings, adjustments) aligned with “what gets paid” (rules, approvals, controls). This is a domain where small data errors become material financial risk, and where trust is earned through transparent governance, repeatable calculations, and strong audit trails.
Dorairaj’s technical core is anchored in the SAP Sales Cloud (Callidus) ecosystem, supported by specialized certifications as a Compensation Specialist, ProducerPro Specialist, and Workflow Specialist. That specialization is complemented by implementation engineering fluency—using Java, PLX queries, and PLX dashboards—and by practical platform integration experience that blends compensation engines with enterprise data platforms. At Google Cloud, he has contributed to compensation architecture that leverages the Vulcan Attainment Engine, SAP Embedded Analytics, Anaplan, and LLM-assisted tooling (Notebook LLM), supporting programs that serve 9,000+ sales representatives, customer engineers, and leaders worldwide. In this landscape, he has engineered scalable integrations connecting SAP Commissions with Snowflake and Informatica, ensuring data pipelines and business logic remain consistent across countries, pay programs, and governance requirements.
Across prior roles at Infosys, Cognizant, and Tata Consultancy Services, Dorairaj repeatedly delivered measurable operational transformations. At Infosys, he led work on Bell Canada’s Dealer Compensation System, reducing commission processing time from 40 hours to 6 hours while materially cutting payment errors—an outcome driven by disciplined rule implementation, data validation, and performance-oriented design for systems managing ~40,000 payees across Canada. For American Insurance General, he architected a unification of agent licensing (ProducerPro) and payments (Commissions) into a single CallidusCloud platform, embedding a hard governance principle into software: commissions are paid only when credentials are valid, thereby enforcing financial controls through automated eligibility and centralized producer data.
At TCS, his work on ABB’s global SAP Commissions implementation consolidated regional compensation operations across North America, EMEA, and APAC, giving leadership unified visibility into worldwide performance and commission expense—one of the most important prerequisites for incentive governance at scale. At Cognizant, he led re-engineering programs migrating high-volume pay plans from legacy systems into Callidus TrueComp, reducing redundancy and long-term maintenance burden while strengthening control posture and audit readiness.
Recognition has followed sustained delivery in environments where outcomes are continuously measured. Since August 2022 at Google Cloud, Dorairaj has received multiple Spot Bonuses and Peer Bonuses, reflecting consistent execution across major launches, finance and controllership partnerships, and platform upgrades. Earlier recognition includes Most Valuable Player and VP Special Awards at Infosys, and performance awards at Cognizant for customer impact and delivery excellence in enterprise licensing and commissions.
Beyond implementation, Dorairaj’s work is defined by team enablement and operating discipline. He has grown teams—from an individual contributor nucleus into multi-engineer delivery groups—by instituting coding standards, structured reviews, and maintainable design patterns. Serving across Agile delivery roles (technical lead, business analyst, backup product owner, backup scrum master), he has repeatedly led cross-functional stakeholders through end-to-end compensation program delivery—requirements, configuration, integration, analytics, and controls.
A consistent thread in his career is ethical responsibility through correctness. Compensation systems affect livelihoods; they must be fair, explainable, and auditable. Dorairaj’s emphasis on SOX-aligned controls, IT general controls, and data accuracy reflects an engineering posture that treats governance as a first-class requirement, not an afterthought—particularly in insurance and global enterprise environments.
