Himanshu Sharma

Himanshu Sharma is currently working as Principal Software Engineer in Netskope Inc. Netskope is world leading cloud security provider, currently serving more than 3500 customers world wide. In his current role, Mr. Himanshu lead architect for Netskope’s Threat Protection service, using AI and ML models. This service protects Netskope’s customers from all malicious actors and protects their invaluable data from getting compromised. This is a highly scalable and reliable service that scans billions of files daily.



Mr. Himanshu have 20 years of experience in developing and architecting highly scalable, reliable and distributed software systems. Mr. Himanshu currently hold 5 patents in the cyber security domain. He is a proud member of the IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force) working group and proudly owns an IETF standard (RFC-9654) under his name. 



Mr. Himanshu hold's a Bachelor of Engineering from MPCT under RGTU university and hold an Advanced computation certificate from CDAC (Center for Development of Advanced Computing). Mr. Himanshu have previously worked in leading roles at different prestigious organizations such as Juniper Networks, Brocade Communication. Mr. Himanshu have participated in multiple organizations to develop different standards. 



In his current role, he works as architect and lead of Netskope’s Threat Protection services and responsible to design and scale these services to scan billions of files each day.  Mr. Himanshu have had an opportunity to develop these services from ground up and participated in numerous customer interactions to design the service. Netskope has won multiple awards for cloud security and “Threat Protection” service is a crucial offering of Netskope. Mr. Himanshu currently leads the team of several engineers to enhance the service and cater new requirements. 



in Mr. Himanshu's free time he would like to read about new trends in technology sectors, work as a volunteer in IETF working groups and currently developing an open standard to enhance OCSP (Open Certificate Status Protocol) to be more secure and extensible (https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc9654.txt) . He volunteered as technical reviewer for three books related to advanced Linux systems. Along with this I have been on the judging panel of Globee Technical Awards and Hackathons. Mr. Himanshu have been a member of IEEE Sr member application review panel. Mr. Himanshu have been honored with a Fellowship by multiple other organizations such as IETE etc.
