Naveena Vadlamudi is an enterprise infrastructure and cloud architecture leader with 15+ years of experience modernizing mission-critical platforms across global financial institutions and Fortune 500 enterprises. Her career has consistently operated at the intersection of resilience engineering, large-scale data platforms, and automation-first infrastructure—where success is measured not in proofs-of-concept, but in sustained uptime, controlled cost curves, and repeatable delivery in regulated environments. Across roles at JPMorgan Chase, UBS, CSC, and Mercedes-Benz Financial Services, Naveena has built and governed systems that support millions of users while delivering measurable improvements in performance, operational efficiency, and platform reliability.

At JPMorgan Chase, Naveena serves as an Application Owner and Technical Program Manager, where she leads AWS solution architecture and delivery of secure, multi-AZ environments using EC2, S3, RDS, EKS, Lambda, and fault-tolerant deployment patterns. She operationalizes infrastructure through Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform and CloudFormation) and CI/CD automation (Jenkins, GitLab, CodePipeline), reporting a 40% reduction in deployment time while sustaining 99.9% uptime across multi-region deployments. In parallel, her work as an Infrastructure Architect has included designing and operating enterprise Hadoop ecosystems supporting petabyte-scale analytics—engineering multi-node clusters with YARN, HDFS, Zookeeper, implementing NameNode HA and distributed storage optimizations, and delivering reported Spark latency reductions up to 40%. She enforced security across the data plane through Kerberos, Ranger, and SSL/TLS, maintaining high availability while meeting stringent security expectations.

Her modernization work extends into cloud-native data pipelines, where she re-architected legacy Hadoop workloads into scalable ingestion and processing systems using Databricks, PySpark, Kafka, AWS Glue, Lambda, and Airflow, incorporating Delta Lake patterns to strengthen reliability and support downstream ML feature engineering and model training. As a FinOps champion, she applied auto-scaling and storage tiering practices that generated a reported 22% reduction in annual cloud OPEX, demonstrating a rare blend of architecture leadership and economic accountability.

Earlier roles show deep fluency across the full stack of enterprise infrastructure—from virtualization to physical data centers. At CSC, as Technical Infrastructure Manager, Naveena architected VMware-based virtual infrastructure using vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, NSX, and vSAN, implementing availability management with vRealize Operations and cross-data-center resiliency with HA, Fault Tolerance, and Site Recovery Manager. She strengthened security through NSX micro-segmentation and standardized provisioning via automation (PowerShell, Python, vRealize APIs). At UBS, as Data Center Strategy Planner, she led a multi-year modernization program for physical data center capacity and resiliency—building automated forecasting and telemetry visibility (Excel VBA, Power Query), engineering rack-level power/cooling plans aligned to N+1 / N+N requirements, and implementing availability management practices aligned with ITIL and ISO 22301. This program delivered reported savings by avoiding $1M+ in capex and reducing opex by ~$250K/year. At Mercedes-Benz Financial Services, she directed on-prem infrastructure programs end-to-end, aligning lifecycle management and capacity planning with business roadmaps and automating utilization reporting to identify optimization opportunities.

Across these environments, Naveena’s distinguishing signature is operational architecture: systems designed to be secure, automated, observable, cost-controlled, and resilient—while also transferable through mentorship, reusable templates, and standards that elevate organizational capability.
