Prakash Easwaran
Implementation Manager at ZeOmega Inc

FELLOW MEMBER
Over an 18+ year career spanning healthcare, government, and large-enterprise environments, Prakash Easwaran has built a reputation for architecting and delivering scalable, compliance-forward digital systems that modernize legacy operations and produce measurable outcomes. In his current capacity as a Senior Implementation Manager and Solution Architect at ZeOmega Inc, Easwaran operates at the intersection of platform architecture, real-time integration, and regulated healthcare delivery—helping health plans and Medicaid ecosystems transition from fragmented processes to integrated, automation-driven workflows that improve both operational throughput and member outcomes.
Easwaran’s work sits deep inside the complex machinery of population health and payer operations. He has led full-lifecycle implementations across care management, utilization management, and appeals/grievances workflows—where requirements are not only technical but also regulatory, audit-driven, and time-sensitive. A hallmark of his delivery style is his ability to translate policy-heavy rules into deterministic systems behavior: decision tables, conditional logic, automated correspondence generation, and dynamic content retrieval that ensures the right clinical and regulatory language is produced for the right scenario—at scale. In high-volume environments, this “rules-to-automation” capability is often the difference between manual backlogs and predictable turnaround times.
On the integration front, Easwaran has designed enterprise integration architectures that synchronize Claims, Eligibility, Provider, and State Medicaid systems through a combination of real-time APIs and batch pipelines. In state Medicaid integrations, he has been responsible for mastering external state API specifications and converting manual file-based exchanges into structured, governed data mappings—improving timeliness while preserving compliance and traceability. He has also driven provider-portal enablement with standards-based data exchange, including prior authorization workflows, enabling bidirectional communication that reduces friction between providers and payers.
His delivery record includes large-scale migrations and upgrade programs with significant operational stakes. He has led transitions that moved millions of members and thousands of users from legacy environments into modernized platforms, while reducing authorization turnaround times and improving stability for day-to-day operations. In one major Blue Cross upgrade scenario, he architected a “common code base” approach to preserve extensive client-specific customizations during migration—protecting business continuity while modernizing the underlying platform. In another high-impact implementation, he orchestrated a Medicare Appeals & Grievance rollout with hundreds of clinical and administrative users and achieved zero critical post–go-live incidents—a reliability outcome that reflects rigorous testing discipline, change management, and technical precision.
Easwaran’s modernization work extends beyond core payer workflows into care coordination and social-impact integration. He has designed security frameworks for portals handling PHI with granular role-based access and read-only protocols, and he has implemented “zero-touch” letter automation to fully automate approval/denial correspondence from provider request through closure. For Social Determinants of Health (SDoH), he has architected modules that identify members eligible for interventions using rules-based logic, and he has configured closed-loop referral integrations with community resource networks—connecting healthcare operations to non-clinical services that materially influence health outcomes. His ecosystem integrations have included community platforms such as Unite Us and Findhelp, enabling more coordinated interventions and better longitudinal visibility into follow-through.
Beyond direct delivery, Easwaran has demonstrated sustained leadership across consulting and services environments including Accenture, Cognizant Technology Solutions, HCL Technologies, and Satyam Computer Services, guiding analysts and cross-functional stakeholders through discovery, requirements traceability, and offshore execution. His professional foundation is reinforced by certifications spanning Agile/Product leadership, business analysis, and healthcare management—including CBAP and healthcare-management fellow credentials—reflecting an engineering leader who treats regulated delivery as both a systems problem and a governance problem.
Across these programs, Easwaran’s work has consistently aimed at the same north star: building ethical, secure, and automation-rich platforms that help healthcare organizations make faster, defensible decisions while protecting member data and meeting stringent regulatory obligations.
