Saidaiah Yechuri

Saidaiah Yechuri aim to encapsulate his professional journey in four distinct phases, covering the period from 2009 to 2024 (15 years), which encompasses both my academic achievements and professional growth.


1. Masters at Purdue University, Aug 2009 – May 2011


       During his master's at Purdue University, he focused on computer technologies and conducted a thorough study on data privacy. He published a paper on an innovative data anonymization method, showcasing expertise in safeguarding sensitive information. Graduating with distinction and a GPA of 3.6 reflected his commitment to academic excellence.


2. Senior Software Engineer at Dish Networks & Echostar, Jun 2011 – Dec 2017; [6 years, 6 months]


      Starting as an intern at Echostar, Mr. Saidaiah delved into the satellite and TV industry, later advancing to a senior software developer. His tenure involved leading pivotal projects in Video on Demand (VOD) and refining systems for optimal performance. Notably, he led a team in developing an IP VOD solution that significantly boosted revenue upon launch, competing with major industry players like Netflix and Starz.


3. Lead Software Engineer at Spectrum, Dec 2017 – Nov 2022; [4 years, 11 months]


     Transitioning to Spectrum, a Denver-based TV and Internet company, He managed systems handling video metadata and supporting Set-Top Boxes (STBs) and applications, managing 36 million requests per second. My proficiency in optimizing high-traffic applications led to promotion as lead software engineer, where he led projects to improve performance, cut costs, and enhance partnerships with Gracenote, Apple, and RottenTomatoes.


4. Software Development Engineer at AWS, Nov 2022 – Current; [1 year, 9 months]


     He transitioned from Echostar and Spectrum to AWS IAM, working on high-demand applications handling a billion requests per second. Being part of AWS IAM provided unique challenges and opportunities, contributing significantly to the critical application's performance and the seamless operation of AWS services at an unprecedented scale.
