Siva Prasad Sunkara is an enterprise technology leader whose 22-year career sits at the intersection of cloud architecture, AI enablement, and large-scale process transformation. Spanning technical program management, solution architecture, and enterprise consulting, his work has consistently focused on designing systems that are not only scalable and secure, but operationally meaningful—platforms that measurably reduce friction, improve compliance, and expand access across healthcare, sales, manufacturing, education, and nonprofit sectors.

In his recent roles at Microsoft, Sunkara has led AI-driven initiatives that reflect a forward-leaning approach to applied computing—where responsible system design and global-scale adoption are treated as core requirements. As Senior Technical Program Manager for AI Skills Navigator, he architected and delivered a multimodal AI learning platform designed to transform enterprise skilling. A defining innovation was the introduction of AI-generated podcasts as a first-class learning modality—turning static technical content into mobile-first audio experiences. He designed a dual-voice SSML orchestration framework and a privacy-preserving AI content pipeline capable of generating thousands of high-quality audio assets rapidly. He led system architecture, Responsible AI implementation, and global launch execution, with approximately 5,000 AI-generated podcasts produced on day one and a roadmap targeting millions of learners—a concrete example of AI applied to education at enterprise scale.

He also led modernization of Microsoft’s internal Event Management Platform, impacting approximately 60,000 users. The goal was to replace fragmented, non-compliant third-party tooling with a unified, cloud-first platform that improves efficiency and strengthens governance. Sunkara drove the modular architecture combining Dynamics 365, Azure services, and automation to standardize event execution across global operations. The result included a 40% reduction in manual effort per event, improved PII and compliance controls, and uninterrupted continuity—a program where modernization had to occur without disrupting business-critical processes.

Beyond Microsoft, Sunkara has repeatedly applied AI and cloud architecture to high-consequence workflows. At TTEC Digital, as Principal Solution Architect, he delivered an AI-enabled Smart Link capability for healthcare patient management—embedding contextual intelligence directly into CRM workflows so customer service representatives could retrieve critical patient information instantly. The outcome was operationally measurable: 40% reduction in CSR response times, 30% decrease in session lengths, and improvements in patient satisfaction and cost efficiency.

His work also demonstrates a civic and accessibility dimension. At HCL Technologies, he led delivery of Trial Watch, a cloud-agnostic mobile platform supporting judicial transparency for a global nonprofit. Built on microservices and leveraging Azure Cognitive Services for text-to-speech and translation across iOS, Android, and UWP, the platform expanded accessibility for thousands of users worldwide. He owned end-to-end solution architecture, security design using Azure AD B2C, and leadership of distributed global teams—showing how AI can advance public trust through accessibility and transparent information access.

Earlier at Microsoft, he led the Microsoft Sales Experience (MSX) CRM transformation, consolidating sales data from 28 disparate tools into Dynamics 365 to enable co-selling between internal sellers and external partners. The architectural innovation included a bidirectional synchronization model between two CRM instances—solving a long-standing collaboration and data alignment challenge—while improving governance, retiring redundant tools, and strengthening seller productivity and integrity of global sales data.

His foundation in ERP and automation—through programs at Infosys and B2B Software Technologies—includes full-scale Dynamics NAV implementations for regulated industries such as petroleum, pharmaceuticals, and clinical research, where automation improved compliance, operational visibility, and reduced manual intervention. Across the arc of his career, Sunkara’s professional signature is consistent: he builds secure, intelligent enterprise platforms that translate advanced technology into measurable outcomes—often at global scale and under governance constraints.
