FELLOW MEMBER

With more than thirteen years of professional experience in telecommunications quality assurance, Supratim Dutta has built a career around one of the most operationally demanding areas of enterprise computing: validating and stabilizing large-scale integrated systems that must perform reliably across ERP platforms, procurement environments, microservices, and network-support infrastructure. His field of expertise lies in Enterprise System Integration Testing within highly complex telecom ecosystems, where the quality of system integration has direct consequences for national-scale connectivity, service fulfillment, procurement reliability, and production stability. Across major programs at T-Mobile and AT&T, his work has consistently extended beyond routine test execution into architecture support, enterprise testing strategy, automation framework design, security validation, and warranty leadership for mission-critical systems.

A defining feature of Dutta’s professional record is the scale and public consequence of the systems he has helped validate. His responsibilities have involved ensuring that enterprise procurement platforms, supplier integrations, and service-support systems can operate securely and reliably under conditions of extraordinary demand. This is especially visible in his work on T-Mobile Project 10Million, where as Senior Engineer SDET within the procurement systems team, he supported the design, testing, and validation of integrated ERP and warehouse systems used to procure and distribute devices for a nationwide digital equity initiative. The technical importance of this work lay not simply in software quality, but in enabling enterprise systems to support a socially significant national program reaching millions of students. By contributing to web service integration, end-to-end validation, security remediation, and UAT governance, he helped ensure production-grade stability for a platform underpinning a program that connected over 6.3 million students and delivered service value at national scale.

His role in T-Mobile Rural America further illustrates his ability to align enterprise systems testing with infrastructure transformation. In that initiative, Dutta worked on ERP enhancement and external procurement tool integration to support fulfillment of network equipment for rural broadband expansion. This was more than a procurement support function. It involved building confidence in the digital backbone required for multi-year rural infrastructure investment and connectivity programs affecting hundreds of communities. Through full-cycle testing oversight, UAT development, warranty management, and security hardening, he contributed to a reliable operational foundation supporting expansion across 450 rural communities and millions of residents. The work reflects a recurring strength in his career: translating enterprise integration complexity into stable operational readiness for large public-impact programs.

Among the most technically complex efforts in his record was his contribution to the T-Mobile Sprint Merger Integration. In that transformation program, Dutta supported migration and integration of Sprint systems across CRM, ERP, order management, analytics, and microservices into a unified T-Mobile ecosystem. This initiative stands out because it required onboarding and validating legacy data and services associated with more than 30 million customers into consolidated national platforms. His work included architectural validation, microservices enhancement support, enterprise testing leadership, warranty stabilization, and security remediation. By helping reduce provisioning errors and improve compliance and transaction stability, he contributed to one of the largest and most consequential telecom system consolidations in U.S. history.

His contribution to T-Mobile’s Satellite-to-Cell Starlink Partnership highlights another notable dimension of his career: enabling novel infrastructure through robust enterprise systems validation. Supporting procurement system modernization for satellite-enabled infrastructure, Dutta focused on architecting and validating ERP integrations and supplier systems required to deploy equipment for hybrid satellite-cellular networks. The significance of this work lies in its connection to the first FCC-approved satellite-to-standard-smartphone service, a milestone in telecommunications innovation. Through disciplined end-to-end testing, UAT leadership, warranty stabilization, and cybersecurity validation, he helped strengthen the operational backbone supporting coverage expansion across more than 500,000 square miles of previously unreachable territory, including rural and disaster-affected regions.

In the T-Mobile Connecting Heroes initiative, Dutta’s work again linked enterprise IT modernization with public service outcomes. Supporting systems that enabled equipment acquisition for first responder network services, he provided architectural oversight, testing leadership, warranty support, and security enhancement across procurement IT workflows. The value of this contribution lies in the fact that these systems had to sustain high reliability and secure routing validation in support of public safety operations. His role helped ensure stability for systems supporting an initiative intended to provide substantial long-term savings to first responder agencies nationwide.

Earlier, at AT&T, Dutta contributed to another foundational transformation through the Microservices Supplier Program. As Test Engineering Senior Analyst, he supported modernization of legacy systems into a microservices architecture, with responsibilities spanning architectural validation, enterprise testing strategy, UAT leadership, code review participation, and security remediation. This initiative was strategically important because it helped transition thousands of backend applications into modular, independently deployable services, improving agility and reducing operational cost. His contributions helped support the workflow optimization and scalable orchestration needed for AT&T’s broader move toward cloud-native telecom architectures and faster time to market.

Taken together, Supratim Dutta’s career reflects sustained distinction in enterprise system integration testing, telecom systems modernization, ERP and supplier integration, microservices validation, and secure production stabilization. His work has repeatedly strengthened the reliability and scalability of digital backbones supporting national connectivity initiatives, merger transformations, satellite-cellular innovation, public safety programs, and telecom modernization at enterprise scale. He stands out as a professional whose contributions have materially advanced the practical architecture and dependable operation of large-scale telecommunications systems.
