Vikas Sripathi
Senior Product Manager at Safeway (Parent Company: Albertsons)

FELLOW MEMBER
Over the course of more than fourteen years, Vikas Sripathi has built a career at the intersection of data analytics, artificial intelligence, cloud transformation, and enterprise-scale personalization. His work reflects a sustained commitment to solving one of the most consequential challenges in modern digital business: how to convert vast, fragmented customer and operational data into intelligent, scalable systems that drive personalization, decision-making, and measurable organizational value. Across industries including retail, banking, consumer packaged goods, and manufacturing, he has consistently operated not merely as a product leader, but as a strategist shaping the data foundations on which AI-enabled enterprises increasingly depend.
At Albertsons, where he served as Senior Product Manager for Loyalty and Customer360, Sripathi led the design and delivery of a near-real-time customer data platform supporting more than 200 million loyalty customers. This was not simply a data consolidation effort. It was the creation of a modern digital intelligence backbone capable of unifying customer ingestion, enabling personalization, supporting GenAI use cases, and establishing a single source of truth for enterprise analytics. Under his leadership, inbound and outbound customer data pipelines were aligned to process over five million daily transactions, allowing loyalty, marketing, and digital teams to execute personalized campaigns and customer journey analytics at a scale that few organizations can achieve effectively.
His contributions at Albertsons also extended into one of the most technically sensitive forms of enterprise modernization: cloud migration under operational pressure. Sripathi co-engineered and led a dual-pronged migration strategy that involved both cloud and vendor transition, including the movement of the Customer360 platform from Snowflake to Google Cloud Platform. Such programs demand far more than technical coordination; they require balancing performance, scalability, cost discipline, downstream continuity, and trust in the integrity of data assets. By leading the migration of more than sixty tables and over one hundred terabytes of customer data, he helped deliver meaningful efficiency gains and cost avoidance while preserving the analytics and personalization capabilities that depended on that data.
Earlier, at First Republic Bank, Sripathi served as the sole Data Product Manager supporting the Enterprise Data Client Insights group, where he owned the roadmap for enterprise master data and caching platforms serving a large-scale data lake environment. In financial services, where reliability, consistency, and timely access to data are inseparable from sound business operations, his work addressed core institutional needs. He led the ingestion of more than one hundred external data sources and became a subject matter expert in customer, account, and transaction analytics supporting more than one million customers and accounts. The result was a stronger data availability framework that improved how banking systems could access, organize, and use critical information across the enterprise.
At NextPhase.ai, as Director of Strategy and Analytics, Sripathi advanced another high-impact area of enterprise transformation: core banking migration supported by reusable cloud-era data products. He led the analytics effort for a major migration program while also helping build products for data lineage, data sharing, governance, and ingestion. This combination of migration delivery and platform thinking is especially significant because it demonstrates that his work was not confined to one-off execution; instead, he helped build reusable systems that could support future scalability and governance. In doing so, he led multidisciplinary teams and managed a multi-million-dollar portfolio, showing that his influence extended across technical, strategic, and organizational dimensions.
His earlier work at Antuit.ai and Fractal.ai further rounds out a profile defined by applied innovation. At Antuit.ai, he led analytics and data science streams focused on personalization, churn analysis, recommendation systems, and predictive modeling for B2B clients, contributing to measurable revenue impact and omnichannel AI strategies. At Fractal.ai, he designed decision-support models for pricing, inventory, and e-commerce performance in fragmented-data environments, delivering frameworks that accelerated decision-making, reduced effort, and created cost savings for executive stakeholders. These roles show the continuity of his professional arc: he has repeatedly translated advanced analytics into systems and strategies that improve how enterprises operate and compete.
Viewed as a whole, Vikas Sripathi’s career is defined by a rare combination of technical depth, product leadership, and enterprise-scale impact. His record demonstrates sustained contributions to cloud-based customer intelligence, AI-driven personalization, data migration, master data architecture, and applied analytics across multiple sectors. He exemplifies the kind of practitioner whose work does not merely support digital transformation, but materially enables it.
